The PS Plus October 2017 line-up has just been revealed by Sony, and it's an absolute belter.

PlayStation Plus members are getting a bumper PS4 free games selection, with the line-up headlined by Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Hideo Kojima’s swansong to the Metal Gear Solid series will be available to download for FREE for PS Plus members on October 3.

Metal Gear Solid 5 received rave reviews upon release, with the Metacritic rating for MGS 5 standing at an impressive 93 per cent.

The PS Plus October 2017 line-up also includes the Amnesia: Collection.
