I totally get why a hold is necessary, because this is expensive equipment and Sony can’t have people disappearing with their headsets or returning them with peanut butter-covered viewing lenses. But here’s the thing: The language used in regard to this particular detail makes this whole ordeal seem less like a free trial and more like a scheme to take advantage of people who either a) forget to send the package back or b) are too lazy to do so.
